Responsibilities: Will interpret drawing and specifications performing requisite tests as they apply to missile programs. Verification of material specifications will also be cross-checked against shelf-life manual. Candidate will also review and document all analyses for distribution to manufacturing. Will interface with manufacturing, quality and program personnel. Laboratory testing involves analysis of metals, adhesives, plastics, paints, primers tapes and a wide range of wet chemistry.
Position requires citizenship for purposes of obtaining clearances. No current clearance is required.
Required Skills:
Knowledge of material strengths, thermal, chemical and aging properties. Must be able to read and interpret drawings, specifications and shelf life manual. Must be familiar with principles of analytical wet chemistry. Familiarity with MS Office. Good communication and interpersonal skills are also required.
